  • Low-Dose Naltrexone (LDN) works by briefly blocking the body’s opioid receptors. This triggers your body to release endorphins. That boost in endorphins sets off several helpful processes:

Immune support: Helps balance immune activity and reduce overactive inflammatory responses
Anti-inflammatory effects: Lowers cytokines and NF-κB signaling, which are linked to chronic inflammation
Metabolic support: May improve insulin sensitivity and reduce inflammatory signaling in immune cells
Appetite regulation: Supports natural appetite control by increasing α-MSH activity, which helps decrease hunger and increase energy use

  • What is Low-Dose Naltrexone (LDN)?
Low-Dose Naltrexone is a lower dose of naltrexone that may be prescribed off-label to support immune balance and inflammation regulation. Your provider will determine if LDN is appropriate for your health goals.
